Welcome Home – Wayne County

Welcome Home is a reentry program that builds on Flip the Script’s Center for Working Families model, offering workforce development, career coaching and job placement support to justice-involved individuals.

Welcome Home is a reentry program that extends Flip the Script’s – Center for Working Families work. The Welcome Home Program provides the Bridges to Career Opportunities (Bridges), program model of Center for Working Families that is a tailored workforce development and long-term coaching services for justice involved individuals. The program offers justice-involved individuals’ vocational assessment, career planning assistance, job training, job search and retention, coaching and transitional work experience opportunities to facilitate successful transition and reintegration into the community.

Education Recovery – Wayne County

Provides educational recovery services that help participants earn a high school equivalency credential (GED).

Eligibility Criteria: Wayne County Resident age 16 years or older

High School Diploma Preparation (17 – 20 years old)

Grade Level & Literacy Improvements (Math and Reading)

Offers an alternative sentencing program for Wayne County residents ages 16–39 involved in the justice system, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Corrections, 3rd Circuit Court and 36th District Court.

Safer Communities Stronger Families has been transforming the lives of people in Wayne County since its launch in 2014. It is trusted as an essential part of community safety by law enforcement, circuit/district court judges, probation agents, practitioners and community members. The program has consistently made a positive impact by reducing the number of repeat offenders aged 16-39 in Wayne County. With its proven track record, Safer Communities Stronger Families plays a crucial role in fostering a safer and stronger community for all.

Offers an alternative sentencing program for Oakland County residents ages 16–39 involved in the justice system, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Corrections, 6th Circuit Court and 50th District Court.

Safer Communities Stronger Families has a proven track record of transforming lives since its inception in Wayne County in 2014. The program has helped thousands of individuals get their lives back on track and has significantly reduced the number of repeat offenders between the ages of 16 and 39 in Wayne County.
