Donated Goods Retail
Goodwill’s iconic retail shops are more than thrift stores. Each helps to fuel free job training and support services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Our thrift stores also work within their local municipalities and schools to provide employment opportunities for community members, including those with disabilities and other barriers.
Together, we can make a lot of good happen.
Each piece of clothing, book, toy or household item gifted to us helps fund free programs throughout metro Detroit, including adult education, job training, financial coaching and life skills development. These free programs help metro Detroiters living with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities receive access to the tools and resources needed to gain and retain employment to support an independent lifestyle they deserve.
