Barbara Smith Award Nomination 2019
In honor of Barbara R. Smith, a dedicated supporter of Goodwill Detroit for more than 40 years, this award recognizes an individual who has made contributions towards advancing the mission of Goodwill Detroit. The award will be presented to the recipient at this year’s 37th Annual Golf Classic, May 11th at the Detroit Golf Club. The following criteria will be considered for this award:
- Partnership/service has supported a program/department/agency that was valuable and supported the mission of Goodwill Industries;
- The partnership/service directly or indirectly positively impacted Goodwill trainees
- The partnership/service occurred in 2019;
- There was a need for the partnership/service; and
- The impact of the partnership/service is measurable
This award will be presented at the 37th Annual Golf Classic dinner reception on May 11, 2020.
Nominations are due by Friday March 20th, 2020.
