Ben & Jerry's Youth Program
Our Ben & Jerry's location will close for the season November 16, 2012 and will re-open March of 2013.
Ben & Jerry’s Youth Training and Employment Program is a 16-week training program for at-risk youth between the ages 15 – 21. During the first 4 weeks, students are in class learning employability and customer service skills. The next 4 weeks are engaged in our Ben & Jerry’s store, where students will get an opportunity to use their customer service skills and learn how to properly serve the customers. After students have successfully completed their 8 weeks of training, they participate in 8 weeks paid work experience as a Scooper in our Ben & Jerry’s store. While students are completing their paid work experience, they are assisted in gaining continuous employment in the community.
